My Little Pony Shirts

While I didn't have an obsession for My Little Pony when I was a kid, I did love them and owned a few. Now that I am older I love seeing that these icons from my childhood have made a comeback and even have an influence in fashion (Lady Gaga even had a necklace made up of the toy ponies), especially in the Japanese fashion trend known as Fairy Kei, where pastel and bright colored iconic toys of the 80s and 90s are part of the fashion as well as influencing the color and style.

Awhile back on the blog for Zazzle.com they announced that they now have officially licensed My Little Pony products on their site, including My Little Pony shirts. If you are a fan of these iconic 80s characters you're going to love this.

You can find My Little pony t-shirts at other places online, but a bonus to getting yours at Zazzle is the ability to customize the shirt. When you go to the page on Zazzle that shows a shirt with the design you want you can choose from several different shirt styles and sizes, and even click on the orange button that says, "Customize It!" and from there you will be taken to a page where you can choose a different shirt and add text such as your name on the shirt too if you want.

They also have a lot of the My Little Pony designs on other customizable products too.

This My Little Pony shirt is are done in the classic (now considered vintage) style of the ponies from the 80s that so many people associate the ponies with. They are the ones I personally remember from my childhood. They have cute, "chubby" bodies (at least in comparison to the new style ponies), pastel or somewhat brighter colors, and symbols relating to their names on their back sides.

Firefly, Glory, Gusty and Minty are just a few of the classic MLP's that you can get on shirts at Zazzle.

The Retro Elements line for My Little Pony on Zazzle takes the sweet, vintage ponies out of their usual nostalgic and traditional, sweet pastel colors and takes them to an edgier and grungier side (but still cute) with black and bright pops of color.

I like these t-shirt designs as they have a sort of street art, graffiti appeal.

Some of the designs include a black and white pony placed against a distressed backgrounds of things like clouds, rainbows, stars and even a boombox.

My Little Ponies have been updated for a new generation. These "Friendship Is Magic" ponies are thinner, sleeker and have bigger eyes than the usual 80s and 90s versions. But they are just as cute in their own way. In regards to bigger eyes Princess Celestia is the exception and she overall has a more beautiful and elegant look.

Applejack, Fluttershy, Luna, Pinkie Pie, and Rainbow Dash are just some of the favorites found at Zazzle and cute MLP tee shirts for modern fans are plentiful.

Although it looks like all of the My Little Pony t-shirts on Zazzle can be customized, these special personalized My Little Pony shirts were designed specifically with personalization in mind. The designs incorporate text that you can easily change by typing the words you want instead right there on the product page. You don't have to click on the "Customize It" button, which saves you several steps (but you could still do that, if you wanted to change the font or color of the font, and of course choose a different shirt as well).

Most of the ones I've seen there are geared towards Bronies (according to WikiPedia a brony is usually considered to be a male fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is magic, but also is often applied to any fan outside of the target demographic).
